Slow Food
Asia Indigenous Peoples' Network
Let our inspiration resonate throughout a world without walls.
This is our prayer for our food and lifeways, planet, homes,
and all living beings on this Earth,
especially for future generations who may walk in beauty.
Now our minds are one.

AOUT US

It is said that 80% of the world's biodiversity is protected in the 22% of the earth's surface that is inhabited by indigenous people,
only 5% of the world's population.
At Slow Food, we believe that protecting biodiversity also means protecting cultural diversity. Slow Food believes that the rights of indigenous peoples to manage their own land, grow their own food, raise livestock, hunt, fish, and gather according to their own needs and decisions are fundamental to protecting their livelihoods and preserving the biodiversity of indigenous animal and plant varieties.

SLOW FOOD
Slow Food is a global grassroots movement to improve our food and the systems that surround it. It began in Italy in 1989 as a response to the loss of local produce and culture, the rise of fast life and fast food, and the lack of interest in food. With the slogan "Good, Clean, Fair food for all," the organization has a number of projects that put food at the center.
